PROGRAM:
Day 1
COUNTRY OF ORIGIN – PONTA DELGADA (SÃO MIGUEL)
Arrival at Ponta Delgada Airport. Welcoming by Cordial Tours Guide.
The Island of São Miguel is the largest island of the Azores and has Ponta Delgada as regional capital.
Transfer to a Hotel in Ponta Delgada. Check in.
In the afternoon, departure for a short walking panoramic tour of Ponta Delgada including passage through some top sites such as the Church of the Holy Christ, the City Gates and the historic city center.
Return to the hotel.

Day 2
PONTA DELGADA – SETE CIDADES – LAGOA DO FOGO – PONTA DELGADA
Breakfast at the hotel.
Departure from the hotel towards the Fajã de Baixo and to visit a pineapple plantation, where you can admire how the grows on the island of São Miguel. Continue on the Estrada do Carvão from where you can get a beautiful view through the over the island. Stop at the viewpoint Vista do Rei from where a breathtaking landscape over Lagoa das Sete Cidades, the Green & the Blue Lagoon, can be enjoyed. It´s located in the western part of the island and considered protected landscape. Descent to the Vald das Sete Cidades with a brief stop in Lagoa de Santiago. Some free time to rest or personal visits.
Lunch at a local restaurant.
Continue along the north coast and pass by Vila de Capelas. Drive up the mountain to 900 meters from where you can get a wonderful view of the island of São Miguel and to the beautiful Lagoa do Fogo, one of the most emblematic scenes of the entire island.
Return to the hotel in Ponta Delgada.

Day 3
PONTA DELGADA – FURNAS – PONTA DELGADA
Breakfast at the hotel.
Departure from the hotel along the south coast starting with a stop at the Viewpoint of Caloura. Brief stop at the first capital of the island: in Vila Franca do Campo. Arrival at Furnas, visit the lagoon and crater, where the famous Cozido is cooked and that you can enjoy for lunch.
Lunch at a local restaurant.
After lunch, visit to Terra Nostra Botanical Garden, one of the most beautiful and interesting of the island with a heated natural pool, where there will be possibility of bathing. Continuation by the North coast. Drive up to 900m to Pico do Ferro to admire an unforgettable panoramic view of the entire area. Passage by the only tea plantations in Europe and visit to Gorreana Tea Factory with tea tasting.
Return to Ponta Delgada.

Day 4
PONTA DELGADA – ANGRA DO HEROÍSMO (TERCEIRA)
Breakfast at the hotel. Check-out.
Transfer from the hotel to the airport of Ponta Delgada with Cordial Tours guide assistance.
Assistance at the airport during boarding formalities.
Flight to the island of Terceira.
Arrival at Angra do Heroismo Airport. Welcoming by Cordial Tours Guide.
Beginning of the visit of Terceira Island in the central group of the Azores that got its name because it was the third island to be discovered.
Transfer to a Hotel in Angra do Heroismo. Check in.
Lunch at a local restaurant.
In the afternoon, guided walking tour through the city of Angra do Heroismo, classified as a World Heritage City by UNESCO due to the enormous wealth of their heritage.
During the visit opportunity to meet prominent locations such as Angra do Heroismo Museum (Convento de San Francisco – closed on Monday), Duke of Terceira Garden, Old Town Square, Town Hall (just outside visit), visit to the Palace of Capitães Gerais (available to visit), Church Cathedral with visit to its Treasury (if available to visit) and Convent of São Gonçalo.

Day 5
ANGRA DO HEROÍSMO – PICO DAS CRUZINHAS – SÃO SEBASTIÃO – PRAIA DA VITÓRIA – ALGAR DO CARVÃO – CALHETA – ANGRA DO HEROÍSMO
Breakfast at the hotel.
Departure from the hotel to the Viewpoint Pico das Cruzinhas on Monte Brasil, for a panoramic view over the city of Angra do Heroismo. Continue south with stops in São Sebastião for a visit.
Lunch at a local restaurant (for tasting the typical dish of the Island: Rump)
During the afternoon, continuation of the visit toward the Praia da Vitória. Brief stop to visit the second city of the island. Continue to the Serra do Cume and visit the caves of Algar do Carvão. Continue to Biscoitos to visit the natural pools of Calheta. Return to the city of Angra do Heroismo.

Day 6
ANGRA DO HEROÍSMO – HORTA (FAIAL)
Breakfast at the hotel. Check-out.
Transfer from the hotel to the Angra do Heroismo Airport with Cordial Tours guide assistance.

Flight to the island of Faial.
Arrival at Horta Airport. Welcoming by Cordial Tours guide.
Beginning of the visit to the island of Faial island known for the frequented harbor for boats crossing the Atlantic and famous for endless hedges of hydrangeas dispersed throughout the island, flowering during the early summer.
Departure from the Airport towards the crater, in the central part of the island and protected area. Stop at the viewpoint.
Lunch at a local restaurant.
Continue to the Capelinhos resulting from volcanic eruption in 1957 and 1958. Visit the Volcano Interpretation Centre of Capelinhos (closed on Monday). Climb to the Viewpoint of Espalamaca, stopping to enjoy a spectacular view of the city of Horta and its bay. Short overview of Horta.
Arrival at Hotel Horta. Check in.
Dinner and overnight in hotel Horta.
Day 7
HORTA – PICO – HORTA
Breakfast at the hotel.
Departure from the hotel to the pier of Horta to cross by boat to the island of Pico (30 minutes). Drive along the north coast, stopping in Cachorro. Continue to the village of São Roque to visit the old whale processing factory (closed Monday). Continuation towards the town of Lajes, which reaches a height of 900 meters. Arrival at Lajes and visit to the Whaling Museum (closed on Monday).
Lunch at a local restaurant.
Return along the southern coast passing the Mistérios. Continue to the parish of São Mateus to visit the Church, home of the biggest religious festival of the island: the festival of Senhor Bom Jesus. Stop at a traditional cheese factory of Pico and also visit the Wine Museum (closed on Monday). The visit to the island of Pico ends at Pier Magdalene.
Return by boat to the island of Faial. Transfer back to the hotel.

Day 8
HORTA – LISBON – COUNTRY OF ORIGIN
Breakfast at the hotel and check-out.
