Departure towards the quarter of Belém, where the monuments depicting the time of the Portuguese Discoveries are. First stop next to the Belém Tower (classified as World Heritage by UNESCO), the sixteenth-century fortress and the starting point of the caravels and navigators. Then stop at the Monument to the Discoveries marking the 500th anniversary of the death of Henry the Navigator and visit to the church of the Jerónimos Monastery (masterpiece of Manueline style and classified as World Heritage by UNESCO). The visit to Belém ends with a visit to the National Coach Museum, which contains one of the most important and richest collections of coaches in the world. From the Monumental Lisbon, proceed to the Old Lisbon, strolling through the old and traditional district of Alfama, which includes a glass of Portwine in a craft store. At the end of the visit crossing the cosmopolitan area, past the monumental Comércio Square, Rossio (heart of the city) and the Avenida da Liberdade, Lisbon boulevard.
After the Lisbon Tour free time for lunch (not included).
In the afternoon, departure from the Marquês de Pombal Square in direction to Sintra, where will take place the visit to the Sintra National Palace located in the heart of the town. Their conical chimneys, the magnificent collection of tiles and the mixture of architectural styles make this monument one of the symbols of Sintra. Then, free time to stroll through the historic center with the possibility to taste the famous “Travesseiros & Queijadas” icons of the pastry of Sintra
Continuation of the visit to Cabo da Roca, the westernmost point of Europe, "where the land ends and the sea begins' in the words of Camões - famous Portuguese lyric poet. We emphasize other attractions along the coast, such as Guincho beach, a paradise for surfing enthusiasts and the Boca do Inferno (Hellmouth), a name that was given to him because of the noisy and impressive way in which the sea rushes against the caves and cliffs when the weather is bad. The last stop will be at the Bay of Cascais, with its apartments overlooking the sea, well known for the beauty of its beaches and the lively nightlife. On the way to Lisbon pass by Estoril to admire the famous Casino and its majestic gardens.
