This Experience is very flexible in what itinerary is concerned; this vehicle can take the participants to almost every corner of the city center or to the alleys of the historical neighborhoods. 

ITINERARY SUGGESTIONS:

1 – ANCIENT LISBON

This route takes the participants through the quaint medieval quarter of Alfama, the oldest neighborhood of the city. It's like a small village, standing as evidence of Lisbon before the 1755 earthquake, as it remained standing thanks to its rock-solid foundations.

In this experience you’ll pass by Portas do Sol Belvedere (terrace above the Alfama quarter), Saint Jorge Castle, Our Lady of the Monte Belvedere, one of the least visited but perhaps the most breath-taking viewpoint in Lisbon, looking directly to the castle, the old town and the modern quarters away from the center.

2 – LISBON BELVEDERES

Historically built over 7 hills, the city of Lisbon has for this reason several belvederes from where one can admire magnificent views over the city center, the river, and the old & historical neighborhoods. Beginning in downtown the first approach to this thematic tour is Santa Catarina Belvedere, a terrace overlooking Tagus river. Next stop is São Pedro de Alcântara, with its extensive balcony overlooking downtown Lisbon and the hillside where São Jorge Castle stands. On to Santa Luzia overlooking Alfama rooftops and Tagus River, then Portas do Sol, a terrace above the Alfama quarter; Graça romantic terrace overlooking the city and fantastic views that go from the castle down to the river, the last but most probably the most wide-ranging  Belvedere of “Nossa Senhora do Monte” looking directly to the castle, the old town, and the modern quarter away from the center.

Extras: Possibility to include the stop for port wine tasting – recommended for a maximum of 25 participants
